Prodi Tadris Bahasa Inggris IAIN Palangka Raya

Prodi TBI adalah salah satu prodi yang berada di Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu keguruan yang berakreditaskan B. TBI sudah ada sejak 2002 saat masih jadi STAIN hingga sudah menjadi IAIN palangka Raya. TBI mempunyai Lab bahasa yang memudahkan mahasiswa mahasiswa belajar melalui komputer. 

TBI IAIN Palangka Raya mempunyai alumni-alumni yang hebat,  beberapa dari mereka sejak kuliah di Prodi TBI IAIN Palangka Raya,  mereka sudah menginjakkan kaki keluar negri dan dalam negri.  Contohnya Muhammad takdir berkesempatan mengikuti program AIYEP yaitu program ke Australia. Kemudian Putri Rafa Shalihah yang pernah ke jepang mewakili IAIN Palangka Raya, kemudian Zalida yang berkesempatan keliling beberapa negara.

Prodi tadris bahasa Inggris juga selalu mengadakan INACELT setiap tahunnya dimana speakernya berasal dari Luar negri. Seluruh mahasiswa tadris bahasa inggris ikut serta dalam event ini,  karena event ini adalah event paling besar. Dan ini adalah salah satu upaya kami untuk meningkatkan akreditas IAIN Palangka Raya.

Prodi Tadris Bahasa Inggris juga mengundang beberapa Dosen amerika dan mengajar selama 1 tahun,  dan mereka sangat membantu dalam perkembangan Bahasa Inggris Prodi TBI IAIN Palangka Raya. Dijamin fasih dalam berbahasa Inggris.

Pada tahun 2020 awal Covid 19 telah tersebar secara cepat di Indonesia termasuk di Kalimantan Tengah, banyaknya orang orang terinfeksi berjatuhan menyebabkan pemerintah kebingungan untuk menangani virus ini. Virus ini menyebabkan daya tahan tubuh seseorang lemah dan dapat menimbulkan kematian kecuali seseorang itu menjaga daya tahan tubuh dan menerapkan prilaku hidup sehat. Dan akhirnya pemerintah kewalahan sehingga menerapkan sistem lockdown dan PSBB. Sistem ini dilakukan sangat ketat sekali, orang yang boleh keluar rumah orang yang hanya punya keperluan dan itu harus menggunakan masker dan handsanitizer. Dari masalah ini otomatis mempengaruhi sistem belajar siswa-siswa Kalimantan Tengah, sekolah-sekolah diliburkan sehingga siswa hanya belajar dari rumah termasuk belajar Bahasa Inggris.
Adapun dampak dampak terhadap sistem pembelajaran bahasa Inggris ialah:

1. Tidak Ada alat untuk belajar bahasa Inggris seperti Hp atau Laptop.
Tidak semua siswa mempunyai  laptop atau hp, ini menjadi masalah bagi siswa. Karena mereka tidak bisa mengakses pembelajaran. Bagaimana mereka belajar Bahasa Inggris jika tidak ada medianya, Bahasa Inggris sangat memerlukan media karena untuk belajar seperti penulisan atau spelling dan pengucapan itu memerlukan media agar tulisan dan pengucapannya di periksa di media ketika kita belajar.

2. Tidak adanya Jaringan
Karena semua pembelajaran berbasis online, Jaringan menjadi salah satu penyebab pembelajaran tidak bisa berjalan lancar. karena tidak bisa mengakses apapun.

3. Tidak adanya paket data
Akibat pandemi covid 19 ini, ekonomi jadi semakin melemah, belum kebutuhan lainnya. Ini benar benar sangat memberatkan siswa dan masyarakat. Sama seperti tidak ada jaringan, ini juga tidak bisa mengakses apapun. Jadi siswanya tidak bisa belajar.

4. Kurangnya pemberian materi Bahasa Inggris
Masalah ini juga berpengaruh, karena online class kadang sulit untuk memberikan penjelasan secara detail tentang bahasa inggris. Sehingga murid sulit memahami materi tentang bahasa inggris. bahasa Inggris juga terbilang cukup sulit apalagi pas bagian grammar.


5. Berusaha untuk memahami cara menggunakan applikasi.
Semua sistem di masa covid 19 ini adalah sistem dadakan yang tidak dipersiapkan sebelumnya, sehingga siswa terpaksa harus memahami applikasi pembelajaran.

Impact lockdown and PSBB toward English Lesson System at Home

In the beginning of 2020, Covid 19 has spreaded fast in Indonesia. It includes Central Kalimantan, many people have been infected by covid 19 which causes government is confused for handling this virus. This virus causes weak immune system except, someone keeps his immune system by applying healty lifestyle. Finally, Government get overwhelmed, and then Government applies lockdown and PSBB system. This system is done so well. The people who may go outside mush wear mask and bring handsanituzer. From this problem authomaticly affects Teaching and Learning school in Central Kalimantan, Schools has been closed day off.

Several aspects can impact English system are:

1. There is media for learning English such as Mobile phone and Laptop.
Not all students have a laptop or mobile phone, that's a problem for students, because they cannot access a lesson. How they learn English  if there's no media, English really needs media. Because learning spelling and pronunciation need media to get written and pronunciation. And then It must be checked by us when we learn.

2. There is no connection
Because all of.lesson based on online, connection becomes a problem, the lesson cannot be done well. We cannot access anything.

3. There is no data connection
Because of corona virus, Economy is getting weaker, It doesn't include other necessities yet. This burdens students and students' parents. Same as number 2, This also cannot access anything. So, The students can't learn anything while online class.

4. Lack of giving material English
This problem also influences, because online class is sometimes hard to gibe explanation in detail about English. So, the students is hard to understand the material about English. I consider that English is the hard one of lesson, such as grammar.

5. Struggle to understand using Applicatin to learn English.
All of system in covid 19 pandemic is a sudden system which cannot be prepared before, so students is forced to undestand the application.

             Halo reader, sebelumnya terima kasih telah membaca blog aku. anda adalah orang-orang yang benar-benar akan sukses karena kalian telah membaca blog ini. Sandiaga Uno berkata "saya menemukan satu persamaan di anatara semua pembisnis sukses yaitu membaca." 

            Saya adalah seorang mahasiswi pendidikan bahasa Inggris di IAIN Palangka Raya. Tak pernah terpikirkan olehku bahwa aku akan menjadi seorang guru di masa depanku. Dulu aku sangat benar-benar meremehkan pekerjaan guru, aku mikir akan pusing jadi guru kemudian susah dapat kerjaan dan benar-benar tak ingin jadi guru. 

            Setelah aku masuk kuliah semua pemikiran itu masih ada, awalnya aku bermimpi jadi seorang pengacara dan ingin mengambil program studi Hukum Tata Negara. Pada saat itu HTN masih terbilang prodi yang sangat baru sehingga aku ragu. kemudian tak sengaja sekali aku menonton sebuah video orang berbicara bahasa inggris dengan fasih. Aku termotivasi meliat itu dan langsung mengubah program studi aku jadi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. 

            Beberapa semester aku jalani tanpa tentu arah, aku mencoba untuk buka les-les an. Alhamdulillah dari situ penghasilan sangat lumayan. Saya mencoba lagi mendaftar di sebuah lembaga kursus di Palangka Raya, saya hanya ingin mencoba dan mendapatkan uang di lembaga tersebut, melaui beberapa tes saya dinyatakan lulus. Disini aku benar-benar merubah pola pikir aku, orang-orang disekitar ku benar-benar orang hebat yang bisa mempengaruhi aku. Dulunya, aku yang tidak suka membaca menjadi sangat menggemari membaca hingga aku beli banyak sekali buku yang memotivasiku. aku di training sampai 6 bulan dan aku melewatinya. Walaupun banyak kritikan dan halangan tapi saya buktikan saya bisa. Dan benar-benar menjadi seorang guru bisa mengubah pikiranku, memberikan banyak pengalaman, dan membantu biaya hidupku. kenapa aku bisa bertahan di tempat kerja itu? 

1. MEMBACA

        Dengan membaca akan menambah wawasan dan memperbanyak pengetahun semakin banyak kamu membaca banyak pula pengetahuanmu, kamu tidak akan ketinggalan pembicaraan pada kerabatmu. Dengan membaca, kamu bisa mengimbangi kerabat-kerabatmu yang lain. itu juga yang aku lakuin. Karena aku melihat kerabatku sangat luar biasa, aku termotivasi untuk bisa jadi kaya mereka.

2. JUJUR

        Ini sangat penting, ketika kamu bekerja jangan sekalipun kamu berbohong. Setiap perusahaan akan mempertimbangkankan jika kamu berbohong. Jika aku terlambat karena ketiduran, aku langsung bilang aja

3. ON TIME

        Usahakan selalu tepat waktu, aku selalu datang seelum jam kerja dimulai, kecuali ada masalah dijalan. aku pernah mendapatkan reward dari tempat kerjaku

4. PROFESSIONAL

        Jadi, ketika kerja jadilah profesional, jangan melibatkan persoalan pribadi pada pekerjaanmu.

5. PERUNAHAAN

        Perlihatkan perubahaan pada diri kamu. Terimalah setiap kritikan yang bisa mengubahmu. 

6. BERPRILAKU SOPAN

         nah, yang satu ini sangat penting kamu perhatikan. setiap perusahaan saya rasa mempunyaI kriteria masing-masing. mereka melihat dari sisi body gesture dan bicaramu. aku sangat menjaga yang satu ini, aku selalu berhati-hati ketika kumpul bersama rekan-rekan kerja dan bosnya.

               Perhatikanlah kata-kata dari bapak Bob, nah awalnya saya kerja emang untuk uang hingga akhirnya aku sadar kerja itu bukan sekedar uang tapi pengalaman. emang uang tak seberapa tapi ilmu yang mereka berikan sangat berharga sekali. Jadi kata-kata bapak Bob sangat menggambarkan saya sekarang. saya tak lagi mengejar-ngejar uang. tapi jika ada tambahan dari tempat kerja itu sangat saya syukuri.

            Biography of My Village

  I am a woman who live in quite village. I am from Kuala Jelai regency Sukamara town Central Kalimantan Indonesia. my decent was from West Kalimantan.  I am a Malay tribe. I am 5th child from 7 children. I am 20 years’ old who lives in the 100% Moslem people in my region. Therefore, I am a Moslem too. I am a female who always helps my mother does housework as our culture. I love traditional dancing and singing which are origin from my region. I always join traditional ceremonies as a dancer. I can do 3 traditional dances, those are Zapin, Creation, and Coastal dance.   There are 4 main impact the culture of my life, those are self-culture, cultural beliefs, cultural background impact view world, and the influence of culture on my interactions.
There are kinds of story about my culture self-analysis. Most of people say that I am Banjarese, but it was wrong. Most of people in my region say that we are Malay. Most of people say that my region is the border between Malaysia and Indonesia. my region’s location is close to from West Kalimantan. My village is across to west Kalimantan, several region in West Kalimantan are Malay, because of that my tribe is Malay. I think that I am a Malay, because our culture almost the same with Malay tribe. My father’s parents are Dayaknese from west Kalimantan. My mother’s mother is Dayaknese from West Kalimantan and my mother’s father is Banjarese.  I think that why the people in my region say us Malay, there are several cultures. we are Malay because our language is almost same as west Kalimantan, but we different pronunciation. Then, our culture in tradisional dancing, when we have an event. we always show Zapin for the opening in the event.
I have several aspect cultures; it influences on my communication with others. My region is a small city which has Malay language. For example, when I come to the city to get my study, I meet a lot of people who have different background cultures and tribes. There are Banjarese, Dayaknese, Java and so on. I am a Malay, I cannot interact with them easily, because I use to use my language when I talk with my friend. I should speak Indonesian, in older that they understand what I say. Even though, I could not speak fluently, because I am not often used to it. We have different culture among them. Due to it influences us to cmmounicate each other.  Sometimes, some my friends ask what does it mean. I explain briefly in Indonesian language.
  My region has many kinds of beliefs. Our decent believe that we have 3 animals as belief.  Do you know these 3 animals? it has been belief from our ancestors, there are white crocodile, fatin fish, Prince monkey. They are just strange creatures which are believed by the people’s in my region from our ancestors. Every people in my region has a belief, they regard as the descendants of previous ancestors. My family tell me about this, and my family believe that we have white crocodile in my father’s family and my mother’s family prince monkey and fatin fish. Every people should remember them and give them offerings. But we have time when we give them offerings such as, wedding party, when a woman give birth, circumcision, and when the people go so far. It has several thing can occur. If we do not give them offerings, they can be angry and we can be possessed by them. And also, if we eat fatin fish the people in my region believe that our eyes can be blind based on the descendants. I see with my eyes when it occurred. Furthermore, the people in my region believe that the strange creature gives us sustenance.  It is believed to be in the form of a dragon which has a very long body size. We have a ceremony every year on January to give it respect. We should give an offering. Such as, cow’s head and other offerings. The way how we take the offerings. We use a big ship. If we do not give it, something can happen. Distress will come to our village, very heavy rain, very big waves and someone’s death as a sacrifice. But, I do not believe it. I strongly oppose this belief because it contrasts with our religion. We are 100% Moslem in my region.
We have kinds of culture in my village, and it has culutural background that impacts world view. my village has been created by the people in my village. Previously, my village is a harbour. Many people come to my village for going to somewhere by ship. For example, Java, Banjarmasin, West Kalimantan and so on. It was getting crowded, and it has been a village since several years ago. Because many people move to in my region. Certainly, The people have different background cultures and tribes. Such as, Javanese, Dayaknese, and Banjarese tribes. In additional, my region’s location is close to from West Kalimantan. My village is across to west Kalimantan, several regions in West Kalimantan are Malay. Most of people say that my region is the border between Malaysia and Indonesia. So, I am a Malay. We have the unique culture. It is the way we serve food based on the gender. When my mother serves the food, she always gives my father and my brother the best food than the girl have. And also she puts it in different plate or bowl. According to the people in my village, we cannot eat their food. It is not polite for us. We will be scolded by my mother. That might be normal for people who are not from my area, but that would make my mother furious. For instance, I see on the television, the people around the world eat together with their family in the same place food and I see is not normal for me. But, it is normal for them.

Zayn Malik

Here are some of the reasons why I think Zayn Javadd Malik is perfect and why I love him . His riffs. I could listen to his vocal riffs in One Direction songs all Day . He can do things with his voice that other people could only dream of doing . He has an amazing personality . And he's just perfect he doesn't even have to try to be perfect . I love Zayn because he shows so much love for his fans and family it literally amazes me . Knowing that trying to stop smokin is really hard for smokers and him trying to stop just for his fans means alot. He's so genuine and Words can't describe how perfect Zayn is . The passion he puts in music when he sings and the goosebumps that I get and feel when he hits those high notes or just hearing his voice in general . His face is amazingly beautiful and his teeth are perfect . The way he squints his eyes and his smile lines appear and seeing his hige smile when he laughs makes me smile. But even though Zayn is physically perfect and beautiful, so is his personality. I hope I will meet him in the future.

My favorite film

 

  I like watching movie. I amoften watching western movie. I am recomended by my friend some good films. I am interested about Hunger games film which I watched is really good film. In the film, Do you know what genre the film is. This film has an action genre. The main character is Katnis Everdeen who has a brave. She and other peopla were asked by the company for playing games in game area. They can kill each other. Katnis use arrow. She looks so cool. I think All of you must watch this film. This film is very nice and become my favorite film.
